Eyeshop July 2026 newsletter

Happy July, EyeShop family! ❤️🤍💙 This year’s celebrations feel extra special as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday—a milestone honoring community, tradition, and the moments that bring us together. One of my favorite traditions is participating in the Orange Township Fourth of July parade. Make sure to come and check us out! Wishing you a safe, sunny, and star-spangled July!

"See" You on Parade Day (and the 3rd for LOLLIPOP DAY)!

We’re excited to celebrate America’s 250th birthday at the Orange Township Fourth of July Parade! Last year, our EyeShop crew went blue and brought the fun as the Smurfs… but this year, let’s just say things may be getting a little more yellow 💛👀 Join us on July 4th at 10:00 AM as the parade begins at Orange Middle School and makes its way to Orange High School. We can’t wait to celebrate this incredible milestone, wave to familiar faces, and show off this year’s surprise theme. And on Friday July 3rd we'll kick off the holiday a little early with a LOLLIPOP DAY! What better way to start the weekend than with some discounted sunnies?

250 Years of American Style--Through the Lens of Eyewear

As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we thought it would be fun to take a quick look at how eyewear style has evolved through the years! 👓 1700s–1800s: Functional and simple—early spectacles were all about helping people see clearly with small round lenses and handcrafted frames. ✨ 1920s–1950s: Glasses became fashion. Wire frames, browline styles, and glamorous cat-eyes started making a statement. 🕶️ 1960s–1980s: Bigger, bolder, and more expressive. Oversized shapes, colorful frames, and iconic sunglasses took center stage. 💎 1990s–2010s: Minimalist styles mixed with designer fashion and lightweight materials. 🚀 Today: Eyewear does it all—fashion, function, blue light protection, advanced lenses, and styles that show off your personality. One thing has stayed the same through every generation: great vision never goes out of style. Here’s to 250 years of seeing the world—and looking good doing it!

Why Anti-Reflective Coating is a Summer Essential

Summer means more time outside, brighter days, and plenty of opportunities for glare to get in the way. Anti-reflective (AR) coating helps reduce those annoying reflections on your lenses so your vision stays clearer and more comfortable—whether you’re driving, reading outdoors, or moving between sunshine and air-conditioned spaces. AR coating can help: ☀️ Reduce glare from sunlight and bright surfaces 🚗 Improve comfort while driving 📸 Make your lenses look clearer in photos 👀 Reduce visual distractions and help your eyes feel more relaxed ✨ Keep your lenses looking cleaner and sharper Think of it as upgrading your lenses for the season—because summer looks better when you can enjoy every detail clearly.
