Missouri State University is located in Springfield, MO, and has one of the largest undergraduate enrollments in the state. Missouri State offers about 15 undergraduate degrees in more than 110 academic programs and 13 graduate degrees in about 30 programs. Centrally located in the beautiful and historic Ozarks, Springfield boasts a population of 165,000 and is the third largest city in Missouri. Springfield offers students small-town charm, with metropolitan amenities. Springfield is 166 miles south of Kansas City and 217 miles southwest of St. Louis. MSU recently installed a new fitness center on campus equipped with basketball courts, an indoor track, racquetball courts, treadmills, weights, a swimming pool, and more.

University Campus and Facilities

In the athletic field, Missouri State University is an NCAA Division I university, boasting 47 NCAA championship appearances since the 1980s. The men's soccer team competes in the Missouri Valley Conference where they have won four straight MVC regular season titles. In 2023, the team had three players selected for the 2023 MLS SuperDraft List. Head Coach, Michael Seabolt, has been at Missouri State since 2007, helping lead the Bears to 10 MVC regular-season championships, three MVC Tournament titles, six NCAA Tournaments, a NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in 2020-21, and has coached 24 All-American selections.
