Europe Trip 2026

Team dinner

The team had dinner together a week before leaving for Europe to commemorate the trip.

The Heels had two open practices as a send-off before leaving for Europe

Next came the travel day. The team spent the day flying from RDU to Frankfurt, Germany, before finally landing in Istanbul, Turkey

To fight off jet leg we took a ferry over to the Asian side of Istanbul and walked around, taking in the sights and sounds of the beautiful city

The next day we were finally able to play some volleyball

We faced Marmaris University in a great opportunity to spread joy through volleyball

The following day we faced the Youth squad from VakifBank while playing in the pro-team's arena

After the match, we spent the afternoon on a yacht, seeing Istanbul from a new point of view and spending time together as a family

The next morning we visited the Blue Mosque which was built in 1617

Next we traveled to Slovenia, where we played two matches

Later that night we rode a gondola up a mountain to enjoy a beautiful team dinner

The next morning, the Heels took a ski lift up a mountain to ride on an alpine coaster

Later that night, we went back up a mountain to enjoy one final family dinner in Slovenia

Next, we were off to Venice, Italy

The following day, we got to play against Team Italy

Moments we'll never forget

We spent our final day in Europe making our own pasta and touring around Milan
