THE WUDANG WIKI
Religious Daoism
Religious Daoism, or Daojiao (道教), is a rich and diverse tradition rooted in the spiritual, cosmological, and ritual practices of ancient China. It represents the formalized religious dimension of Daoist philosophy, centered on living in harmony with the Dao, the fundamental principle underlying the universe. Religious Daoism seeks not just understanding of the Dao but also the cultivation of a spiritual life through practices aimed at achieving personal transformation, immortality, and communion with the divine.
