Updates Coming to the Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium

We’re excited to share the recent upgrades around Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium that are making the area brighter, more beautiful, and more welcoming for everyone who visits. Here’s what’s been completed:

  • New Lighted Crest for the Clock Tower: The iconic clock tower now features a stunning new lighted crest, adding a touch of elegance and making it a standout feature of the stadium’s entrance.
  • Veterans Walk Revitalized: The path from Malaga to the Stadium entrance has been enhanced with fresh sod, palm trees, and new baseball-themed bollards, creating a lively and inviting walkway for visitors to enjoy.
  • New Monuments at Key Intersections: We’ve installed impressive new monuments at the intersections of Diamond Dr/Pete Lehr and Diamond Dr/Malaga Rd., making the approach to the stadium even more striking and memorable.
  • Stadium Planter Refresh: Mulch has been removed from the planters surrounding the stadium, offering a cleaner, more modern look and a refreshed landscape that complements the surrounding area.
  • Improved Walkway Lighting: To brighten up the area, the walkway light poles have been repainted, and new globes and bulbs have been installed, ensuring the space is well-lit and inviting, both day and night.

These upgrades are part of our ongoing efforts to improve the stadium area and make it a more vibrant and enjoyable destination for all who visit. Stay tuned for more enhancements to come!

Climate Action and Adaptation Plan

In response to climate change, the City of Lake Elsinore is developing a Climate Action and Adaptation Plan. This initiative aims to reduce emissions that contribute to climate change and protect residents and property from climate impacts.

Focusing on benefits for all residents, especially underserved communities most vulnerable to climate change, the Climate Plan aims to improve air quality, public health, green job access, and local resilience. It could also streamline the environmental review process for new developments.

The public is invited to participate in the year-long planning process, with multiple opportunities to provide input and help shape the plan’s actions.

Lake Watch

Based on recent lab results from lake water sampling, the City of Lake Elsinore is announcing that current levels of toxins from algae warrant no advisory at this time. People are advised to avoid scum, to not drink lake water, and to continue to keep pets out of the water.

The City will continue to test the water on a weekly or bi-weekly basis at this time and will post regular updates on the lake conditions as lab results are received.
