What we did in Feb.

Lopping and pruning

And a bonfire.

So 'twas fun, in the sun.

And I was happy in my work.

But that wasn't all........

Interior Woodwork

Woodworking, in the mill.

Which is extensive.

It all counts.

Then there was the sluice to mend.

In the mud....

Going well.

Plenty to do. Mixing the mortar.

All hands....

Lots of helpers.

And plenty of advice.

The kit.

How did it go?

Well .............

Calm as a mill pond.

With the new sluice mechanism.

The work

Additional to seasonal work, the mill pond had to be drained, leaving a sea of mud to work in. The pictures show some of the kit which we installed, and the mixing of the mortar, to point the wall, completing the job. Fortunately, though extremely cold, the weather was dry and sunny.

And here's the result. Even the geese like it!
