Welcome to Shelsley Water Mill – Where History Comes to Life.

Step back in time and discover the fascinating story of Shelsley Water Mill, a beautifully restored piece of Worcestershire’s rural heritage. Nestled in the heart of the scenic Teme Valley, this historic mill has been part of the Shelsley Walsh farming community for over 700 years.

There’s been a mill on or near this site since 1308, and the current building showcases three distinct phases of construction, each telling a story from the past 300 years. Though last used commercially in 1923 to grind animal feed, the mill has been lovingly brought back to life by our dedicated team.

Today, Shelsley Water Mill is more than just a building—it's a working museum, a hands-on educational experience, and an active site for wildlife conservation.
