Lake Elsinore City Council
A Message from Mayor Johnson
Embrace the enchantment of December with our Annual Winterfest on December 2nd from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We will be lighting up our Historic Downtown Main Street with a magical Christmas movie parade kicking off at 5:30 PM. Following the parade, gather your loved ones for photos with Santa, thrilling sledding adventures, and an abundance of joyful amusements.
As we enter this festive season, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to each and every one of you. Serving as your mayor has been an incredible honor, and I am grateful for the unwavering support of our tight-knit community.
As my term as your Mayor comes to a close, I am filled with gratitude for the experiences we've shared and the progress we have made. While this may be the end of my role as Mayor, it marks the beginning of a new chapter. I am excited to continue to serve this community in a different capacity on City Council.
I wish you all a joyful holiday season!
Sincerely,
Natasha Johnson, Mayor

Lake Elsinore Lake Watch
Based on recent lab results from lake water sampling and guidance from the California State Water Board, the City of Lake Elsinore is announcing that current levels of toxins from algae warrant the posting of a “Caution” advisory. Under this advisory, and per the CA State Water Resources Control Board, people may engage in all forms of recreation, including swimming, boating, and fishing. People are advised to stay away from any remaining visible algae, to not drink lake water, and to continue to keep pets out of the water. Have fun and be safe on the lake!
