Parents/guardians will follow their child's schedules starting at 6:30. The program will run to 8:05.

We are excited to share our first ever club & IM catalog. Click on the link below to find info about the clubs and IM sports offered here at Larson.

Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures

Many of you have now experienced the challenge of our drop off & pick up line! We once again have many LMS families choosing to drop off and pick up their students.

If so, please carefully review the diagram below. These rules must be followed at all times. Know that the line is generally long and particularly so during inclement weather Please remain patient during pick up and drop off. The safety of our students and staff must be at top of mind at all times!

DROP OFF & PICK UP -- it is very important to pull as far forward as possible! Both sets of front doors are open and we need students to use both.

2023-24 Yearbooks

Reserve a Yearbook Now! Yearbooks can be purchased through PaySchools. To guarantee your student will get one, you can purchase your hardcover book for $25 as production costs have gone up. While we may have a few yearbooks available for purchase in June, we cannot guarantee your child will be able to purchase one at that time. Should you have any questions please contact Ms. McHugh at smchugh@troy.k12.mi.us

Pop Tops for a Cause

Collecting aluminum pop tabs for Ronald Mcdonald House of Charities is one of the Girl Botz FTC 22918 all-girls robotics team service projects. We started this community service project early this year and we were able to drop off our winter and spring collection at RMHC in Detroit last month. We have several aluminum tab collection containers at Larson ( one at the front office, teachers lounge and cafeteria).

Food Allergies

We do not designate the cafeteria at Larson as a tree nut, shellfish, or peanut-free zone (or any other allergen).

However, we do ask that you avoid sending your student to school with these items whenever possible.

OYM Volleyball

iPad Insurance

We strongly recommend the $10 iPad insurance for your student to protect against accidental screen or iPad damage. More information below!

New Parent Night -- September 26

Families new to Larson or the Troy School District should plan to attend our New Parent Night. We will introduce you to key staff members, Schoology, and more!

Food Service -- My School Bucks

PTO Support 2023-24

The PTO counts on financial assistance from LMS families so they are able to support students and teachers in a variety of ways. Rather than regular fundraisers, we ask parents/guardians to simply make a one-time donation of $30 per student. This covers the costs of all programming, the most significant being teacher classroom mini-grants.

While our request is $30 per student, we will accept any amount you wish to contribute. The LMS PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so your donation is tax deductible if you itemize deductions.

You can donate in the following ways:

Zelle: Chris_malone113@sbcglobal.net

Paypal: Paypal.me/LarsonPTO. **Please consider adding $1 to cover fees.

Check/Cash: Check made payable to Larson Middle School PTO. These can be dropped off in the Larson main office or mailed to our school.
