1. Why You Should Visit the Wine & Gourmet Festival

Because great wine deserves a great occasion. The Wine & Gourmet Festival is not just an event. It’s three days when Plovdiv turns into a capital of taste - with over 60 exhibitors, hundreds of wines to try, live music, and gourmet experiences you rarely find under the open sky. Here, every wine has a story. And you become part of it. 🍷 Taste hundreds of wines - from small family wineries to established producers. Discover flavors you won’t find on supermarket shelves. 🧀 Explore gourmet products from Bulgaria — cheeses, cured meats, and delicacies crafted by local producers who will truly impress you. 🏛️ Experience Plovdiv in a different way - the Revival-era Old Town, cobblestone streets, charming courtyards, and the iconic Ancient Theatre create a stunning setting for the festival. Catch the sunset from Nebet Tepe. 🤝 Meet the winemakers in person - don’t just read the label. Talk to the people behind the wine.

You come for the wine. You stay for the people.

2. What Is the Wine & Gourmet Festival

The Wine & Gourmet Festival is Plovdiv’s annual celebration of wine and gastronomy - an event that transforms the Old Town into a vibrant stage of flavors, aromas, and culture every spring. For three days, set against the backdrop of beautifully preserved Revival-era houses, some of Bulgaria’s finest wineries and food producers come together in one of the most picturesque locations in the country. This is not a place where wine is discussed. This is where it’s lived. Over the course of three days: 🍷 Dozens of wineries present their wines; 🧀 Gourmet partners offer carefully selected foods; 🏛️ Historic houses open their doors to visitors. The festival is open to everyone - the curious beginner, the passionate collector, and anyone who simply enjoys a well-crafted glass of wine in great company and a romantic setting.
