Greetings

Happy Monday! I hope our dancers recovered from a hot Saturday morning at Operation Back to School. But it's so great to see them giving back to the community. We hope everyone enjoyed last week's Show Offs and Team Dinner. We thank the social committee and all the families that volunteered to help. 💙

• Friday, August 4- Convocation at Cross City Church- greeters will earn a merit and All City dancers meet 7:30 am, greeters done by 9 am, All City Dancers finished by 11am
• Monday, August 7- Meet at 5pm for Raider Rally
• Tuesday, August 8-Practice 7am-4pm, Snapraise Fundraiser begins, Booster Club meeting in the library 7pm

team trip- NYC March 8-11, 2024

We are traveling with the Greenlight company and the trip's website is up and running. Please follow this link to register your dancer. There will be a $50 registration fee at the time of registration. Registration will close on the first day of school- August 10. After the registration process, Green Light will break down the payments into a monthly payment plan directly to the travel company. The cost of the trip is a little higher than anticipated due to airline costs. We will be doing lots of fundraisers this year and hope much of this cost will come down from the efforts of fundraising. Round trip airfare is included in the price; the price is based on the number of travelers so there could be an updated price after we receive a count of participants and chaperones. Please let the directors know if you are interested in chaperoning.

Directors' Corner- Ms. Ibanez & Ms. Blankenship

Thank you to everyone who came to showoffs and family dinner! We had a wonderful turnout and an amazing first performance. The new director of fine arts gave us a huge compliment and invited the All City dancers to perform at convocation this Friday for the entire HEB ISD staff. We are looking forward to these last few practices before school begins. A few reminders: please use our trip link to register for our NYC trip. Registration will close the first day of school, August 10th. We will begin our daily 7 a.m. practices on Monday August 14th for everyone unless told otherwise for the year. On Monday August 7th we will have our next performance at Raider Rally in the Main Gym at 7:30 p.m. Dancers will need to be dressed in full uniform and ready to go in C-gym at 5:30 p.m. Monday September 4th is a school holiday, but we will have practice 8-11 a.m. to learn our contest pom dances. We have lots of exciting things coming up and a busy football schedule, please be checking all emails, Raiderette calendar, and make sure your dancer is checking Groupme.
