Dear Bluejay Family, As we stand on the threshold of Holy Week, the Church invites us into one of the most sacred rhythms of our year—a time of reflection, sacrifice, and deep trust in the Lord’s work in our lives. In this season, I am reminded of Jesus’ words in John 15: “He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and every one that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit.” Pruning is not always easy, but it is always purposeful. It is through this careful tending that growth is strengthened, roots go deeper, and new life begins to flourish. At St. Cecilia, we trust that God is continually at work in our community—shaping us, refining us, and preparing us for even greater things ahead. The fruits of this work are seen in the joy of our students, the strength of our faculty, and the enduring mission we share to form young disciples of Christ. As we enter into Holy Week, may we walk closely with Christ—through the solemnity of Good Friday and into the joy of Easter Sunday. Our faith reminds us that growth often comes through sacrifice, and that new life is always on the horizon.

Trusting in God’s Call: A Message from Mrs. Gilberti
Dear Parents and Students, I wanted to share that I will not be returning to Saint Cecilia next year. This was not an easy decision, because I have truly loved my time here. It has meant so much to be part of your children’s lives and to work with such a supportive and caring school community. The memories we’ve made together will always stay with me. After a lot of prayer and thought, I’ve decided to take a teaching position at a school where my niece, nephew, and several cousins attend. While I’m excited for this new chapter, it’s very hard to say goodbye to a place and people who have meant so much to me. Thank you for your support, kindness, and trust. It has been such a joy to teach your children and watch them grow. I’ll do everything I can to help make the transition smooth for next year. I will always look back on my time at Saint Cecilia with so much appreciation and wonderful memories. Sincerely, Brandy Gilberti
