OV Drama Club Delivers a Sweet Success with Willy Wonka Jr. Performance
In March, the Otselic Valley Drama Club invited audiences into a world of pure imagination with its delightful production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr.. Performed on March 7th and 8th in the school auditorium, the show brought energy, humor, and heart to the stage, showcasing the incredible talent of OV students.
Based on the beloved story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the musical followed young Charlie Bucket’s magical journey through Willy Wonka’s mysterious candy factory -- complete with golden tickets, Oompa-Loompas, and lessons in kindness and character.
From whimsical costumes to lively musical numbers and memorable performances, the cast and crew delivered a truly enchanting experience for the OV community. The student actors brought each character to life with creativity and spirit, earning well-deserved applause from the audience on both nights.
