AREAS FOR Field events are AROUND THE ENTIRE FACILITY

Throws are held outside the track on the south side of the facility
Pole vault is located on the north side inside of the track
Triple jump and long jump are on the south side of the facility between the track and throws area
High jump is on the south side in side of the track

The track is 400 meters consisting of nine lanes for distance and sprint events

The GVSU men captured the 2021 NCAA DII Outdoor National Championship hosted at the GVSU Outdoor Track and Field Stadium

The GVSU Women finished as the runner-ups in the 2021 NCAA DII Outdoor National Championships hosted at the GVSU Outdoor Track and Field Stadium

The outdoor stadium can hold up to 800 spectators in the bleachers while there is also standing room by the field event areas
