Clint Blasengame

Manager, Accountancy Licensee Database (ALD), Compliance Services

Hometown: Stuttgart, AR

Clint manages the Accountancy Licensee Database (ALD), a central, private database containing official CPA and firm license data. The ALD notifies Boards of enforcement and disciplinary actions that have been taken against a licensee by another Board. The Compliance Services department works to assist Boards with their regulatory mission through the management of various applications such as the ALD.

“I truly enjoy working every day with my colleagues in Compliance Services. Many of our individual products are dependent on each other, so everyone works together to achieve NASBA’s mission of enhancing the effectiveness of the Boards of Accountancy.”

Julie Davidson

Supervisor, Application and Documents Processing, Client Services

Hometown: Clarksville, TN

Julie supervises the Customer Service team that is responsible for reviewing and processing all incoming documents and applications from CPA Exam candidates. They ensure that said applications and documents are accurately processed at the initial stage, promoting an efficient and compliant Exam and licensure process with integrity at the center.

Kati Dinkens

Senior Paralegal

Hometown: Loretto, TN

Kati provides legal and regulatory support in her role at NASBA. She works on in-depth research projects typically pertaining to all 55 State Boards of Accountancy. Kati also monitors law and rule updates that impact CPA licensure. The legal team at NASBA works to ensure compliance with state, federal and international regulations affecting CPA licensure, testing and data privacy. Kati and her team aim to keep NASBA operating securely and sustainably so it can serve Boards and candidates without disruption.

Mai ElGazzar

Licensing & Examination Credential Specialist

Hometown: Cairo, Egypt

Mai is responsible for reviewing and evaluating CPA Exam Candidate applications to determine eligibility for the CPA Exam and licensure in accordance with State Board of Accountancy requirements. Her efforts help guarantee accurate and timely evaluation of credentials while her department works together to maintain high standards of said accuracy and efficiency. Mai provides a consistent and expert-level evaluation process that protects the interest of the public and simplifies a complex regulatory environment.

Alyssa Gallas

Operations Manager, The NASBA Center for the Public Trust

Hometown: Nashville, TN

Alyssa’s role covers fundraising, operations, outreach and data functions for the NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT). Some of her responsibilities include planning the Annual CPT Golf Classic, speaking at events, managing the logistics of the StudentCPT Leadership Conference with Student Programs Manager  Jasmine Gaetano, or analyzing the CPT’s sales data and metrics. Alyssa’s goal is to coordinate CPT operations to be both functional and effective across all channels. The CPT supports NASBA in its effort to emphasize the importance of moral reasoning and ethical behavior in professional spaces through the promotion and development of ethical leaders.

“NASBA allows me to be who I am while I work. NASBA has found ways to connect me with leaders who can help me grow and achieve more than I could on my own, which in turn encourages me to grow my skillset in ways that also help NASBA. The chance to do work that feels meaningful to me and to share that passion with the membership and other staff is also a huge plus!”

Elizabeth Goodowens

Manager, Customer Service and Resource Center, Client Services

Hometown: Lawrenceville, GA

As manager of the Customer Service and Resource Center, Elizabeth leads the team that supports CPA Exam candidates through the call center and email inquiries. She also oversees the processing of candidate documents and applications to ensure a smooth and responsive experience from start to finish. Elizabeth’s team serves as the primary point of contact for thousands of candidates, directly shaping their Exam journey and experience with NASBA, which reinforces their trust in the organization.

Letitica Neuble Pinkney

Team Lead, Licensing & Examination Credential Specialist, Client Services

Hometown: Nashville, TN

Letitica supports CPA Exam candidates through the application, education and licensing process. She serves as a liaison between NASBA, State Boards of Accountancy, and Exam applicants and licensees. Letitica aims to make the Exam and licensing application process timely and efficient to benefit both applicants and State Boards.

“I have been at NASBA for many years and enjoy the people. Everyone is always positive and supportive. I love it when we all come together as a team and make great things happen!”

Chelsea Price

Manager, Examination & License Credential Specialist, Client Services

Hometown: Ashland City, TN

Chelsea oversees the CPA Exam and Licensure Credential specialist team at NASBA. She reviews application workflows and maintains efficient processing standards. Chelsea upholds quality standards and guides her team members through training and transitions to ensure timely and accurate completion of cases for both State Boards and CPA Exam candidates. The work that Chelsea and her team accomplish guarantees accurate, reliable and compliant application processing that protects the integrity of the CPA Exam and licensure. This ultimately helps to reduce the administrative burden of the Boards while enhancing the candidate experience!

Erin Scruggs

Associate Director, National Registry

Hometown: Ashland, KY

Erin’s role leads and supports the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Her team works alongside CPA firms, associations, companies and other organizations to help them understand and meet education standards outlined in the Statement on Standards for CPE Programs (Standards). Erin supports National Registry leaders and account managers who work directly with sponsors. She reviews applications and renewals, oversees audits and steps in when compliance questions or challenges arise. Erin also continually works on the improvement and strengthening of processes within her scope. Her role is dedicated to serving sponsors while protecting the integrity of the National Registry, which ultimately provides Boards with greater confidence that licensees are equipped to protect the public.

Elisabeth Webster

Supervisor, Examination Credential Specialist, Client Services

Hometown: Virginia Beach, VA

Elisabeth oversees the Examination Credential Specialist team at NASBA. Her team works to perform the education eligibility assessments efficiently and accurately to allow CPA Exam candidates to begin their Exam journey. Elisabeth’s goal is to take as much stress out of the process as possible to make candidates feel confident on their journey to becoming a CPA.

“I love the customer service aspect of working at NASBA. It's a good feeling to see the candidates succeed in their testing journeys and know that you played a small part in it by providing excellent customer service along the way!”
