Childcare Information:

Julie Rustand will be the Childcare Administrator for WFR Creekside's YoungLives week. After reading the information below and visiting the YoungLives website, please direct additional childcare questions to her at wfr.younglives@gmail.com.

  • Childcare Ratio: Childcare Ratio: For every 5 campers/leaders, the area is responsible for bringing 1 childcare person.
  • Childcare Registration has two steps: 1.) All childcare will be registering through the national website go.younglives.younglife.org. Areas no longer need to create their own childcare registration page. 2.) Please read through the following instructions to see the new process for childcare and to answer any questions you may have.
  • YoungLives Website - this will take you to the National YoungLives site and give you information as well as the Childcare Application link

Children must be at least 12 weeks old or no older than their 4th birthday by the time camp begins to be able to attend. Campers must be at least 12 weeks postpartum or no further than 30 weeks' gestation on the first day of camp to attend.

Contracts & Availability

Contact WFR at wfr@wfr.younglife.org to request additional spots or to create a camp trip! Visit the Camp Fees, Contracts & Accountability page for more details and a breakdown of all camp costs.

R1 Contracts were due January 15th via DocuSign. After this time, areas are financially responsible for $50 per spot. R2 Contracts are due April 1 via DocuSign. Areas are financially responsible for 90% of the spots on their R2 Contract.

Camp will only charge areas at settle up for the traditional camp fee, not the full YoungLives fee listed on Staff Resources. The area will then get charged separately by the YL Camping Department for the Daily Nursery Fee after camp.

Camp Prep Timeline

Ten Days Out - June 19th by 5 PM Turn in your 10-day Call In. This gives camp vital information about your camp trip and how to prepare for your arrival!

48 Hours Out - June 27th by 5 PM Update your Arrival Form in YL Connect Camp. Please be sure to have the following information updated for EACH PERSON (leader, mom, child, childcare): Gender, Role, Health Form Status & Housing Preference. If you are stuck in that process, please review the YLCC User Guide. When it is updated, please email WFR at wfr@wfr.younglife.org to let us know!

FAQ

  • Linens & Bedding? Sheets, pillow, blanket and bath towel will be provided for campers and leaders. Childcare will be required to bring their own bedding.
  • Weather & Elevation? Summer weather at WFR is hot, dry days and cool nights. Bring clothing comfortable for bright sunshine, a water bottle to stay hydrated, and a light jacket for evening activities. Elevation is only 1,200 ft, so altitude is not a concern at WFR.

Summer 2026 Health & Consent Form

The new unified Health & Consent Form is now live and ready to use! This updated form replaces the previous Health & Consent process and will be used for everyone coming to camp this summer. To learn more about this new process, please refer to this information that was sent via email to trip leaders on February 4th. Please review the Health Form page on Staff Resources for step-by-step instructions on inviting parents to complete the health form and reviewing submitted information. Below are some resources that can provide step-by-step instructions and answer any questions you may have (these were listed in the email that was sent and linked on the email document above)

Need a paper form? As a reminder, paper forms are now camp-specific. At Washington Family Ranch, we are asking that if you absolutely need to use a paper health form, you use our version linked below. ANY OLD VERSIONS OF THE 6007 FORM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT CAMP. All paper health forms should be uploaded to your campaign for review by the camp - this will save you time when you arrive at camp for any incomplete health forms!
