Lake Elsinore City Council
A Message From Mayor Manos
Dear Residents of Lake Elsinore,
As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of spring, I'm thrilled to share with you the incredible lineup of events and opportunities awaiting us this March!
With the arrival of Daylight-Saving Time, we eagerly embrace longer days and brighter evenings, offering more time to enjoy the beauty of our city and the company of our loved ones. As we set our clocks forward, let us also set our sights on the joys that springtime brings.
Mark your calendars for a spectacular evening on March 9th, as Downtown Main Street comes alive under the stars!
Join us for live music by the talented Dani Rose, as we wander through our historic downtown streets, immerse ourselves in captivating tunes, and partake in the joy of line dancing. It's a night you won't want to miss!
And as Easter approaches, I invite each and every one of you to join us for the Bunny Trunk Hop on March 30th in Historic Downtown. Get ready for a day filled with family fun, festive activities, delicious treats, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny himself. Let's come together as a community and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
I look forward to sharing in the joys of the season with each and every one of you.
Sincerely,
Steve Manos Mayor of Lake Elsinore

Lake Elsinore Lake Watch
No Lake Watch advisory at this time. Harmful Algae Blooms can be highly mobile in a body of water and may or may not be visible. As a result, lake users should always practice healthy water habits:
- Avoid algae and scum in the water and on shore.
- Keep an eye on children and pets.
- If you think a HAB is present, do not let pets and other animals go into or drink the water, or eat scum and algal accumulations on the shore.
- Don’t drink the water or use it for cooking.
- Wash yourself, your family, and your pets with clean water after water play.
- If you catch fish, throw away guts and clean fillets with tap water or bottled water before cooking.
Nano Bubbler Update
After operating the nano bubbler for approximately a month, we're witnessing remarkably positive outcomes extending approximately 1000 feet around the system. The water is clear, allowing visibility of the lake bottom in the vicinity.
For those in the vicinity of Whiskers Fishing Beach, we encourage you to witness the results firsthand!
We remain committed to diligently monitoring, documenting, and reporting on the progress of the treatment. Thus far, the results are promising!
