Teacher-Developed Evidence Vocabulary Group

Two teachers made up the character group in Spring '23. Each had at least 11 years of experience, and one had 26-30 years.

Teachers came from Massachusetts and New Jersey, teaching 3rd and 7th grades.

Teachers reported a minimum of two lessons during the two-week window. Instruction was nearly evenly split between small group and individual configurations.

Students move up the progression, and demonstrate growth in non-cognitive areas regardless of grouping when working with teachers who routinely provide strategy instruction and have significant classroom experience.
