KATIE'S TALES -- A theatre performance with and by Agnieszka Kazimierska (Poland) // Directed by Mario Biagini (Italy) // With traditional Polish songs // Duration: 55’ // Performance is in English, with subtitles // Production: Fondazione Teatro della Toscana / Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards

TECHNICAL OVERVIEW:

  • Space: classical proscenium stage with the performing space on one side and the audience on tiered risers on the other side, a room with good acoustic quality.
  • Space dimensions: minimum 5,5 m deep, 5,5 m wide and 2,5m distance from the first raw of the audience.
  • Capacity: approx. 150 people, depending on the space.
  • Lights: a general light-wash of a warm white colour covering all the performing area. A blackout at the beginning and end of the performance.
  • Subtitles: a screen and equipment for the screening of the subtitles.
  • Furniture and props: 1 chair, 1 garden coffee-table (length: 85cm/ width: 50 cm/ height: 55 cm), 1 stool (30x30x100cm)
  • Amplification: in some situations - when a space is very big or in outdoors setting amplification might be needed. a remote microphone of the type MKE 2 Gold sub-miniature omni-directional lavalier, of a light/skin color microphone (which will be installed on the top of the head inside the hair) and all the necessary sound amplification equipment, work the sound technician to operate the sound.
