Thank you for your interest in Adobe Badging here at the University of Arizona. To obtain your Adobe Audition workshop badge, please ensure you are an enrolled student, and then follow the instructions below:

Recording and Editing a Podcast in Adobe Audition
Adobe Audition opens the world of podcasting in five simple steps, from setting up your workspace to sharing your polished creation. Whether you're a seasoned podcaster or new to audio content, this will guide your journey in transforming your ideas into a captivating podcast with professional finesse.
- Set Up Your Workspace: Open Adobe Audition, go to "File" and select "New" > "Multitrack Session." Set up the session with the appropriate settings for your podcast, such as sample rate and bit depth.
- Record Your Podcast: Create tracks, arm them for recording, click the "R" to record, and adjust the levels accordingly.
- Edit Your Podcast: Using Auditions editing features cut, trim, apply effects such as equalization, compression, and noise reduction. Adjust volume to ensure a consistent listening experience, and add intro/outro music for a polished audio experience.
- Mix and Export: Adjust the overall mix, export the final file in your preferred format (e.g., MP3 or WAV).
- Have some fun with it!
Submitting your Podcast
- Click on the "Badge Request" link below and fill out the required information.
- Upload the MP3 or WAV file of your Podcast and press "Submit."
- Allow up to 2 weeks for badge processing.
