This Newsletter highlights the incredible milestones, stories, and updates from the past year, giving the OMC Community an opportunity to reflect on God's work and share these moments with friends and family.

January 2022

1. Empowering Pastors

2. Fostering Fellowship

Empowering Pastors

In January, we hosted a four-day conference for our dedicated graduates serving as pastors.

These men have committed themselves to ministering in remote areas of the Southern Province of Zambia.

While we have organized similar conferences before, this one was special as it took place at our new facility.

Providing comfortable accommodations with nice beds, hot showers, regular toilets, and good meals at each sitting.

It was a significant experience, especially for pastors who visited our facility for the first time.

Fostering Fellowship

These pastors received limited support from their denominations, prompting us to host them three times a year.

Our facility enabled us to use Zoom to provide essential support.

Gathering them fosters strong relationships, allowing them to share successes and challenges.

Their stories reveal God's impactful work in their Bible-based ministries.

Partnering with us means supporting these pastors.

Thank you from all of us at OMC

March 2022

1. Answering the Call

2. Willy's Impact in Shinfu

Answering the Call

"Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." – Matthew 9:38

We have trusted that sending Zambians out into the field would produce a great harvest.

God's plan is simple and perfect.

Meet Willy Mwaanga, a graduate from our latest Bible school class.

As soon as he graduated, he journeyed to a very remote area of the Nyawa Chiefdom called Shinfu.

Willy's Impact in Shinfu

Willy assisted a local pastor in Shinfu by engaging in evangelism and initiating Bible studies.

The church experienced growth and now boasts over 100 members.

Additionally, Willy successfully recruited 10 students to attend this year's Bible school, set to commence at the end of March.

Upon their graduation in August, these students will join Willy in bringing the Kingdom of God to a very remote area of Zambia.

Witness the wisdom of God in action!

2. Meet Evineaa Gauls

3. Meet David Mukonka

2022 Hope for Zambia Bible School Class

Introducing the remarkable individuals who made up our 2022 Hope for Zambia Bible School class!

The class was filled with many young, enthusiastic faces, showcasing incredible energy and promising potential.

Together, they have significantly contributed to shaping the future of ministry in Zambia.

Meet Evineaa Gauls

Evineaa Gauls, from the village of Muluka in the Chiefdom of Siachitema, was part of one of our Hope for Children sites back in 2019.

This site was established by Pastor Ringford, one of our dedicated graduates.

During her time there, she learned the art of sharing Jesus with other children under Pastor Ringford's guidance.

Impacted by this experience, she decided to join our Bible school.

Upon graduating, her goal was to initiate a children's ministry wherever God led her.

Meet David Mukonka

Meet David Mukonka, from the village of Samwengu in the Chiefdom of Sipatunyana.

He embarked on his journey with us in 2016.

At the age of 12, David started attending one of our pioneering Hope for Children sites initiated by a graduate named Renald.

It was there that he embraced Jesus Christ as his Savior, learning the empowering truth that all things were possible through keeping the word of God.

Even though he had heard about our Bible school, David needed to complete his high school education first.

It was at our Christmas celebration in his village in 2021 that he made the pivotal decision to join.

Witnessing children from our ministry sites stepping into roles as the next ministers had always been our cherished hope.

May 2022

1. Bringing Hope to the Unreached in Nkandanzovu

2. A Night of Transformation and Discipleship

3. Students' Daytime Ministry in Remote Villages

4. Bringing Hope and Salvation

Bringing Hope to the Unreached in Nkandanzovu

As part of the training we provided for our Bible school students, we took them on at least two expeditions.

During one of these weekends, we journeyed to a very remote area in the Chiefdom of Chikanta called Nkandanzovu.

Fedson, one of our students from the 2021 class, had been gearing up to plant a church there, and our team joined him in evangelizing the people.

This was an area that had not yet been reached with the gospel.

A Night of Transformation and Discipleship

At night, large numbers of people gathered to hear the gospel preached.

In total, 340 adults and children were reached, and 72 gave their lives to Jesus Christ as their savior.

Now, these new converts had a church where they could be discipled.

Students' Daytime Ministry in Remote Villages

During the day, our students went from hut to hut, ministering the word of God, praying for the sick, and casting out demons.

Wherever they came in contact with people, they ministered the word of God with signs following.

Bringing Hope and Salvation

They shared the love and salvation of God with every child they saw and prayed for them.

Your financial partnership has allowed us to continue reaching children and adults in the remote areas of the Southern Province of Zambia.

Thank you for helping us reach the unreached.

June 2022

1. Reaching Children with Purpose

2. Enhancing Outreach with Efficient Transportation

Reaching Children with Purpose

In June, our Hope for Children ministry team successfully executed a new strategy that was initiated in the previous month.

They identified and focused on 25 key children's sites for the upcoming year, strategically located to facilitate gatherings of children from nearby sites for focused weekends.

Led by Cholwe, Renald, and Patrick, teams comprised of our past graduates or current students were deployed for special meetings every other weekend.

The primary objective was to attract more children to hear the gospel.

Enhancing Outreach with Efficient Transportation

In the previous month, the team conducted two test cases, and the outcomes exceeded expectations.

Not only were children saved, but the night meetings also drew many adults who found salvation.

However, one challenge surfaced with this strategy – the efficient transportation of teams to these remote locations.

In May, our well repair truck was used, but it proved to be expensive and uncomfortable.

After thorough research, we discovered that a Toyota Land Cruiser, capable of accommodating 8-9 people with gear, is better suited for navigating the challenging and rough roads.

July 2022

1. Planting Seeds of Faith in Munyenye

2. Faith and Resilience

3. Spreading Light in Munyenye

Planting Seeds of Faith in Munyenye

Revival leads to the establishment of local churches, where God transforms believers into disciples.

In 2021, Lwisha Chiseye graduated from our Bible school with a passion to start a church in the village of Munyenye.

Each week, he rode his bicycle to minister to two families.

He asked us to bring our students to evangelize the area and help launch the church.

In Africa, the church isn't a building—it's wherever people gather to hear the word of God.

Faith and Resilience

Our students slept on the ground outside, as there is no building yet.

It is winter in Zambia, and the mornings can be quite cold.

The day begins with prayer.

Spreading Light in Munyenye

Our students went house to house and conducted night meetings, where many were saved, healed, and delivered.

Those who were saved were baptized.

The church now has a strong foundation with many new converts.

August 2022

1. Celebrating Our Seventh Graduating Class

2. David's Journey

3. From Youth to Ministry

Celebrating Our Seventh Graduating Class

On August 4th, we graduated our seventh class from the Hope for Zambia Bible School.

Twenty-five students, well-grounded in the word of God, are now ready to fulfill their divine calling.

Since launching our first class in 2016, we have graduated 150 students.

While this process is costly and time-consuming, it is the only sustainable way to reach a nation or target groups with the gospel.

This class is our youngest yet, full of passion and energy to make a difference.

These graduates ensure that the purposes God has given us will continue long after we are gone.

David's Journey

The young man in the blue shirt is David.

This picture was taken in 2017 when he was 14, attending one of our Hope for Children sites.

Unfortunately, he was not in the graduation picture due to a family responsibility that prevented him from attending.

From Youth to Ministry

This was David preaching at a night meeting during one of the expeditions that this class participated in.

The 14-year-old had grown into a 19-year-old minister of God's word.

All this was possible because of your faithful partnership.

We were so grateful for your love and support!

September 2022

1. Future Leaders

2. Granger's Calling

Future Leaders

Last month, we hosted 70 children selected from our Hope for Children ministry sites.

Our goal was to enhance their Bible training and encourage them to become more active in ministry.

The Bible teaches us that what you sow will determine what you reap.

Each of these children represented the future of ministry in Zambia.

Granger's Calling

The young man preaching the word of God in this picture was Granger.

He was part of the group of 70 students who attended last month.

At 15 years old, God was using him in a powerful way to assist Renard, a 2016 graduate from our Bible school.

Now, Granger could help Renard minister to the 400 children who regularly attended the Hope for Children sites in the Dunka village area.

"And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." 2 Timothy 2:2

October 2022

1. God's Strategies

2. Core Mission: Ministering to Zambia's Children

3. Opening Doors Through Clean Water

God's Strategies

It's important to remember the strategies that God gave us and why they are crucial.

We do three things: run a Bible school, minister to children, and repair wells.

Each year, we run a Bible school from April through August.

The strategy God gave us was to train Zambians to do the work of ministry.

Making disciples was the only way we could fulfill His strategy.

Since 2016, we graduated 150 Zambian students.

Their lives represented the ministry that was the core of our purpose.

Core Mission: Ministering to Zambia's Children

This is the core of God's purpose for OMC: the ministry of the Word of God to Zambian children.

We focus on reaching children in the most remote areas.

Not only do we preach the gospel, but we also provide ministry to disciple those children who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior.

We believe these children will become the ministers.

Most of our graduates have started at least one Hope for Children ministry site.

Opening Doors Through Clean Water

Repairing a well has no eternal value, but it opens doors to the ministry of the gospel.

We are grateful to God when we can provide clean water.

Strategically, we draw our Bible school students from areas where we have repaired wells.

This allows us to minister to the villages we have helped.

Since 2015, we have repaired more than 400 wells with our Zambian team.

November 2022

1. Trusting God's Guidance

2. Bringing Hope to Villages

3. Looking Forward

Trusting God's Guidance

Trusting the Holy Spirit to open doors and fulfill your vision is something every Christian must learn.

We have envisioned God opening doors for the ministry to expand into the remote western side of the southern province.

The Chiefdom of Chikanta has been pivotal, serving as the key or gateway to that area.

Peason Mweemba, a graduate from our Bible school in 2018, is gifted as an evangelist with a passion to reach unreached areas of southern Zambia.

Led by God, he moved his family to the Nkandanzovu area on the far western side of Chikanta.

Bringing Hope to Villages

Upon Peason's arrival, he immediately began gathering children into groups to share the gospel and disciple them.

In October, we took a team of our graduate students to assist Peason in evangelizing these villages.

It was an amazing weekend, with many people being saved, healed, and delivered.

Looking Forward

Peason has already recruited seven students who will attend our next Bible school in March 2023.

We will do our part to disciple them in God's Word, trusting the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts to accomplish His will and pleasure.

Who will God use to venture further west to reach the unreached? Stay tuned, and we will keep you informed.

Thank you for partnering with us!

None of this would be possible without your faithfulness.

December 2022

1. Meet Tom Siachitema

2. Meet the Siachitema Family

Meet Tom Siachitema

Meet our Zambian partner in ministry, Tom Siachitema.

My relationship with Tom dates back to 2012 when we first met and conducted meetings together.

Over the years, it has become evident that God had knit our hearts together with the same vision and strategy.

Tom possesses a contagious compassion for his people.

He manages all logistics of our Bible school, our well repair team, and the significant task of maintaining contact with our graduate students and their individual ministries.

He is an extraordinary minister of God's Word and a champion of Zambian discipleship.

Meet the Siachitema Family

Meet Tom's precious family: his wife, Julita, daughter Maluba, and son David Larry.

Julita is also pregnant with their third child and is due this month.

Just as Tom is a champion for ministry, so is his family.

They sacrifice every day to give Tom the freedom to reach their nation with the gospel.
