Yes, I’m your marriage celebrant—more than likely your celebrant. But I’m also your MC (Emcee, Master of Ceremonies… whatever you prefer to call it). My role is to carry that same calm, organised energy from your ceremony through to your reception, guiding the flow of the evening so everything runs seamlessly, on time, and exactly as planned. I ensure everyone knows what’s happening and when—so the entire celebration unfolds effortlessly, without ever feeling staged or forced. Having me as both your celebrant and MC means you have one familiar, trusted presence across your whole day. It creates a beautiful sense of continuity—and allows you to relax, be fully present, and simply enjoy every moment without worrying about what comes next.
The advantage of having me both start and finish your wedding day is the sense of consistency and trust it creates. Your guests have one familiar person to look to throughout, ensuring everything flows smoothly while still feeling relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. As your MC, I also bring a deeper understanding of you both than most. By the time your reception begins, I already know your families, your wedding party, your suppliers—and all those thoughtful, personal details that made your ceremony uniquely yours. I carry that same care and insight into your reception, creating a seamless, beautifully connected experience from beginning to end.
Your MC Experience — What’s Included
As both your celebrant and MC, I’m with you for the full journey of your wedding day—creating a seamless, relaxed experience from ceremony through to reception, so everything flows exactly as it should. From the moment your ceremony concludes, I transition straight into your reception—assisting your photographer with gathering guests for photos, helping guide family and friends, and coordinating with your venue to ensure everything is set up and ready to go. In the lead-up to your wedding, we’ll finalise a personalised run sheet tailored to your reception, your priorities, and how you want the evening to feel. I’ll guide you with timing, structure, and ideas, ensuring everything is thoughtfully planned and runs smoothly behind the scenes. On the day, I work closely with your venue, photographer, videographer, and entertainment—coordinating all moving parts so each moment happens at the right time, without you needing to think about a thing. Throughout your reception, I actively manage the flow of the evening—making announcements, guiding guests, and maintaining a natural, well-paced atmosphere. I ensure your guests feel comfortable, included, and aware of what’s happening, without the night ever feeling over-directed or staged. Behind the scenes, I provide calm, discreet problem-solving should anything unexpected arise—handled professionally and without interrupting the flow of your celebration. There’s no need to ask a friend or family member to take on MC duties. Your guests can relax, be fully present, and enjoy the celebration while I take care of the structure and timing. Once your formalities are complete (typically after your first dance), my role naturally comes to a close, and I’ll quietly step away—leaving you and your guests to enjoy the rest of the evening. For your convenience, I also provide my personal PA system (LD Systems Maui 5 GO) if required. Most venues have their own equipment, but it’s there as a reliable backup should you need it.
Investment
MC services are charged at:
- $120 per hour for 2026 weddings
- $140 per hour for 2027 weddings
A $250 booking fee secures your date, with the remaining balance due one month prior to your wedding.
The hours you require are confirmed at the time of booking, with a minimum of four hours for MC services.
