I (Shaun) was born in Guyana, but grew up in Suriname. I received Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 13. Driven by a deep desire for others to know Christ, I spent my after-school afternoons visiting neighbors door-to-door to pray for the unwell and share the gospel. My ministry experience with Campus Crusade for Christ began in Suriname in 2005, and on a vision trip with Cru Suriname to Curaçao in 2009 I met Shareline. I received the calling from God to go back to help build a movement in Curaçao. So, we got married in 2011, and in 2012 I joined staff. I serve as the National Leader for Cru Curaçao, where I provide strategic oversight for the Student-Led Movement (SLM) and spearhead the local FamilyLife ministry initiatives.

I (Shareline) took the step to surrender my life to God at a year-end church service in 2006. God lavished me with His love as His dear daughter, transformed me, and gave me a purpose to live for. At that time I was at the university majoring in Accounting, and during my internship I felt that I there should be more than just working the books behind four walls. I wanted to reach out to more people. Little did I know that God was preparing me for the calling He had for me. In 2009 I got to know about Cru when Shaun and the team came from Suriname on a mission trip. And I fell in love with the purpose of this organization. In 2010 God called me to be a full-time missionary during a Caribbean student conference by Cru. Next to evangelizing and discipling students - our next generation leaders - I serve as the Operations Leader for Cru Curaçao. God is using my degree in Accounting and Controlling, to manage the local ministry's financial and logistical infrastructure. And in addition to my local leadership, I serve on the CCC Global Audit team.
