Together, We Can End TB
TB affects millions – and ending it will require new solutions, stronger investments, and collective action. Communities are at the heart of the fight to end TB: helping to drive awareness, support treatment implementation, reduce stigma, and to hold systems accountable. When we work together, we reach more people, close gaps in care, and save lives. This World TB Day, we come together to recognize the power of communities, and the role each of us plays in ending TB.

Communities Drive the Response
Communities are at the heart of the fight to end TB. Community health workers, advocates, and TB survivors bring trust, lived experience, and local knowledge that no system can replace.
As highlighted by community leaders like Dr. Brumskine, real progress happens when people are met where they are, with an opportunity to be heard. Without strong, community-led efforts, too many people remain undiagnosed, unsupported, or left behind.
Ending TB depends on empowered communities to lead the way.
Ending TB Takes All of Us
Ending TB takes all of us—and that means working together, raising our voices, and investing where it matters most. Governments, researchers, donors, advocates, and communities each play a critical role in advancing new solutions and expanding access to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Advocacy is essential to this effort. When communities and partners speak up, they help drive political will, secure funding, and keep TB a global priority.
But progress depends on sustained funding, especially for community-led programs that connect people to care, reduce stigma, and ensure no one is left behind. When we come together, speak out, invest in communities, and work in partnership, we can accelerate progress and move closer to ending TB for good.
