Moses Hopson III, MFA

Versatile digital media professional with a strong foundation in storytelling, film production, creative content development, and higher education.

Moses Hopson III is a filmmaker originally from Newbern, Alabama, by way of Chicago, and now based in Greensboro, North Carolina. With an MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University and a BA in Journalism and Digital Media from Stillman College, Moses brings a unique blend of academic leadership and hands-on media experience.

In the professional film world, Moses has contributed to over ten productions, working with Hollywood-trained talent on both studio and on-location sets. He has independently written, directed and produced Gods Child and was Director of Photography for In my Father's Eyes. He also co-wrote and was second AC/ prop master for The Russell Gemstones, a limited series currently being pitched to streaming networks.
