Students Bring Historical Figures to Life
History came to life at Otselic Valley as fourth and fifth grade students showcased their research and presentation skills during the annual Wax Museum project.
As part of the project, students selected and researched a historical figure, athlete, musician, inventor, leader, or other influential individual. They then transformed into their chosen person and shared information about that individual's life, accomplishments, and impact on the world. Visitors were invited to tour the showcase and interact with students as they presented their projects. The event featured a wide range of notable figures, including Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, Amelia Earhart, Jane Goodall, Martin Luther King Jr., members of The Beatles, Aaron Judge, Ed Sheeran, and many others. The Wax Museum provided students with an opportunity to strengthen their research, writing, public speaking, and presentation skills while exploring the lives and contributions of people who have helped shape history and culture.
Otselic Valley thanks everyone who attended and supported the event. The district is especially proud of the hard work, preparation, and creativity demonstrated by its students.
