Activity 1: Identity Icebreaker
Introduce yourself to your class.
- Log in to Adobe Express with your EDU account
- Start from this template
- Add an image representing you
- Change the text and graphics
- Include your favorite colors
- Experiment with resizing your work
- Experiment with auto-translation
- Share your work with us
Activity 2: Syllabus Overview Poster
Create a poster providing an overview of your syllabus, with an animated twist.
- On Adobe Express home, open the Animate characters quick action
- Record a voice intro to your course with a background of your choice, then choose 'Open in editor'
- Use the Text menu to add a title and create an appropriate poster background for your talking head video

How could I use Adobe Express to engage students?
Earn Badges
In order to receive a badge you must have been registered for AEI in November 2025.
- Workshop Badge: Earn a badge for each workshop you completed (no portfolio needed).
- AEI Fellow Badge: completed four (4) or more AEI workshops this year (no portfolio needed).
- Influencer Badge: complete at least six (6) AEI workshops AND submit a portfolio of work created in Adobe Express.
How To Prepare The Portfolio For The Influencer Badge?
To qualify, your portfolio must be created in Adobe Express and include activities from at least six (6) AEI Express workshops you have taken part in. (The final session does not count.)
The portfolio can be a webpage, presentation or even a poster! Upload your your work as pictures, videos or view-only-links.
Please include a short reflection on your learning journey. Throughout the on-demand material you will find short reflection questions you can use for support.
How To Claim Your Badges
Whether you've completed the AEI workshops live or on-demand, you'll need to fill in the form (We'll sharing this closer to the event) to confirm which workshops you've engaged with.
Please note that you only need to complete the attendance form ONCE, so we recommend you do so after you've worked through all the workshops you intend to complete.

How To Share Your Portfolio
Please ensure you have correctly published your portfolio before sharing it with us.
Steps to share the portfolio:
- Open your completed portfolio in Adobe Express
- Click 'Share' in the top right click
- 'View-only link'
- Click 'Create link'
- Copy the generated link and include it in your badge form submission
