The Tassel is Worth the Hassle!

Tassel is an all-in-one platform designed to modernize and simplify the graduation experience for students. It is used to coordinate Commencement, including graduation registration and guest tickets.

Through Tassel, you can:

  • Claim e-tickets for your guests
  • Record your name to ensure correct pronunciation during the ceremony
  • Be featured on the big screen as you walk across the stage, with your name displayed

For important updates regarding regalia purchase, guest tickets, and Tassel registration, please review the Graduate Gazette Spring Commencement Newsletters. All times listed are in Central Standard Time (CST). Additional key dates, including regalia ordering and Grad Finale details, will be updated on the commencement webpage and in the newsletters.

Go Bluejays!

Ticketing

Ticketing is Now Open!

Tickets will be required for both Elmhurst University Commencement ceremonies. Each graduate will receive five guest tickets. Guest tickets are electronic and will be scanned at the door.

How the Ticketing Process Works:

1. Tickets will be electronic. Graduates can retrieve their guest tickets via their Tassel account. We highly recommend that your guest print out their ticket prior to the event.

2. Children seated on a lap do not need a ticket. If a child requires their own seat, a ticket is required. 3. All guest tickets are general seating.

Important Ticket Information

Guest tickets are only issued to students who have purchased their regalia (cap and gown).

Once regalia has been purchased, please allow 3–5 business days for guest tickets to appear in your Tassel account, as this is a manual process. Our team is working diligently to process all requests as quickly as possible. We ask that graduates monitor their Tassel account for tickets to be available.

Tassel Registration closes April 25, 2026
