Southwind Details:
Who: All Middle School Students in Watauga and Avery Counties
Where: Southwind, a Young Life camp located in Ocklawaha, FL
When: June 22 - Late evening June 27th
What: A week full of exciting activities, surprises, great food, fun with friends and leaders, and the opportunity to grow in your faith if that is something your child desires.
Cost: $875 total. $250 deposit saves your spot, making the remaining balance $625. The deposit is non-refundable after April 15, 2026. This fee covers a week of activities, meals, lodging, and a charter bus ride to and from Southwind.

Available Activities
There will be lots of time to enjoy many of the free time activities while at camp: Two Pools, Paddleboards, Waterslide, canoes, and a lily pad. Other free time activities include the camp store, snackbar, frisbee golf, basketball, volleyball, 9-square, whiffleball playing field, octaball or gaga ball, cornhole, and much more!
Rides Available
The rides available are at a scheduled time together with the friends in their cabin. These include the "Screamer" (swing), and a mountain bike jump track.
