WU-TANG TAI CHI CLASSES

AT SEVEN MOUNTAINS TAI CHI

The Wu-Tang Tai Chi (Wudang Taijiquan) is our Classical Wudang Sanfeng Taijiquan Marital Art program. This course is available to those that have completed Life Nourishing Tai Chi Level 1-4 Certifications.

In this class, we will train in a more traditional manner, with a focus on Daoist Cultivation goals & developing authentic martial skills. Some students will focus more or less on either of these two components, based on their interests and needs.

This class may include, but is not limited to:

  1. Warmup Self-Massage
  2. Joint Warm Up Exercises
  3. Stance & Squatting
  4. Swinging Exercises
  5. Cloud Hands & Posture Linedrills
  6. Leg Stretches
  7. Basic Kicks
  8. Martial application in various ranges and scenarios
  9. Self-defense and joint lock applications
  10. Pushing hands and clinch fighting practice
  11. Daoist Internal cultivation principles
  12. Daoist standing meditation
  13. Cooldowns and Stretching
