Freemasonry

Macnab is a new lodge, designed from the ground up to be a vibrant, fun lodge with fresh ideas about thematic freemasonry. Enjoyment in what we do courses through our philosophy making sure we hit all the right targets. Charity, is a cornerstone facet of freemasonry and we're proud to be patrons of the TLC appeal and have in our short existence given to many other worthy causes.

Our Story

Macnab was consecrated on the 10th of June 2022.

It was inspired by the "Macnab Challenge" book by John Buchan and amalgamates the passions of shooting and fishing together with Freemasonry in a fun, fresh thematic masonic lodge.

Shooting

Macnab is fortunate to have a depth of knowledge in shooting disciplines from clay, skeet, practical shotgun, handgun, rifle and much more...

Our lodge has various shooting events throughout the year, some prior to our meetings! Members can even wear their tweeds in lodge.

We're also lucky to have our very own professional shooting simulator which projects onto a 13x9ft screen and uses laser technology to enable us to shoot a range of targets in the comfort of indoors!

Fishing

We're also abundantly supplied with many who fish! From fly, course to lake and sea to river, our members share their fishing knowledge in our many events.

We're also proudly supporting the Masonic Fishing Charity which provides days out for those with special needs. Our members, through our own events raise money for this worthy cause.
