As part of the ongoing restoration the team are replacing a rotten wall beam that supports the downstream pair of stones. To achieve this the mill stones and associated boxing and flooring has had to be removed and the brick work repaired to accept the new 15 cm x 32 cm x 250 cm timber wall beam. Work is proceeding at a pace to get the mill back in working order for the season.
