For owners without pets, our home security checks ensure your home remains functional while out of town. Our security checks include:
Retrieve mail, packages, and newspapers
Check for water leaks in the laundry area, bathrooms, ceilings, and water heater.
Make sure appliances are in good working order.
Ensure air conditioning and heating is working.
Ensure cameras are plugged in.
Check windows and entrances for security breaches.
Check the exterior of the home for security concerns.
Place trash cans on the curb.
Any other checks you’d like – our services are completely customizable according to your needs.

At Away Home & Pet Care we know you care deeply for your pets and want only the best for them. Our pet sitting service is just that – the ultimate luxurious experience for your pets and complete peace of mind and convenience for you.
Service Areas: Covering most of Kershaw County.
Fee: $25 per HOME SECURITY CHECKS (NoPets)
Fee: $35 per Pet Sitting Visit.
If you reside outside the City Limits of Camden there could be an additional charge to cover fuel costs.
Pet Sitting/House Sitting
A sitter will come to your home following a customized routine that we’ll develop in collaboration with you. You can also schedule additional visits throughout the day to accommodate potty breaks and meals. Additional visits are charged at our standard drop-in rate.
When we book your services, we reserve exclusive time for you and your pets and have likely turned away other clients during this time.
Vacation/Pet Sitting Reservations $35.00 per visit.
More than 2 weeks' notice: full refund.
7-14 days notice: 75% refund. 3-6 days notice: 50% refund.
Less than 3 days notice no refund.
If a non-refundable deposit has been requested (primarily for holiday and overnight reservations), a cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
What do your pet sitting services include?
We are a full-service pet sitting company. Our pet sitting services are customizable according to the needs of your pets and your home. At the meet and greet we will document your pet’s routine and adhere to that routine while providing services. The following services are included:
Refreshing food and water
Letting out for potty time
Playtime in the yard
Cleaning up accidents
Scooping litter boxes
Pictures and report cards via text
Administering medications, including pills, injections, subcutaneous fluids and inhalation treatments
Checking the mail
Checking for water leaks in the home
Bring in packages
