Meet New People & Serve Together!

A great way to meet new people is to work alongside each other to serve Jesus and others! Here are some great ways to get involved and serve together!

Hospitality Team

The Hospitality Team works together to create an environment that welcomes each person into a new experience with God each week. Whether you greet, usher, make coffee or drive the shuttle, you each carry the hospitality of Jesus to all who drive into our parking lots and walk through our doors!

KidsMin

Our Kids Ministry invites children in grades K-4 to join us for worship, a story lesson, crafts and lots of fun! Whether passing out snacks, guiding children through fun hands-on activities, sharing the Bible story, or helping to set up and clean up, our volunteers are excited to share Jesus' love with all the children who come through our doors!

Chair Team

Join a team that works behind the scenes to support the ministries that happen every Sunday morning and our special services throughout the year! The Chair Ministry Team builds community while setting up and praying over the space and the chairs where people will come that day to encounter the truth and love of Jesus. Whether you choose to volunteer weekly or once a month, you could be a regular blessing to our vital ministries!

Shawnee Alliance Core Values

At Shawnee Alliance, our core values reflect who we are and how we live out our faith. They guide us as we grow closer to God, love people well, and follow Jesus together.

Faith We love seeing God do the impossible in our lives. Together we grow in trusting Him, stepping out in obedience, and living with courage. Biblical, Meaningful Teaching God’s Word changes lives. We focus on teaching Scripture in ways that connect to real life and help us live it out every day. People Every person matters to God and to us. We love building community, encouraging one another, and reaching out to those who don’t yet know Jesus. Generosity We find joy in giving our time, energy, and resources to serve God and others with open hearts. Grace & Healing Shawnee Alliance is a safe place to be real. We welcome everyone with love, speak truth in grace, and trust Jesus to bring healing and hope.

Vision Sunday Celebration

This Vision Sunday, we gathered to celebrate all that God is doing through Shawnee Alliance and to cast a vision for the year ahead. While harvest season in our agricultural community has come to a close, we are still called into the harvest around us. There are places within the church and throughout our community where your presence and your gifts can make a lasting impact. If you feel God calling you into something more, visit our Volunteer or Community Partnership pages to take your next step in the harvest.

Decision Celebration

Here at Shawnee Alliance Church, part of transformed lives includes accepting Christ as our Savior. When an individual makes this decision we want to recognize that and come together to celebrate such an exciting moment!

Congratulations to all of the adults and children who made that decision so far this year and lighting the candle on Sunday morning to allow us all to celebrate with you!

As we conclude our Living Generously series and look forward from Vision Sunday, we celebrate the God who gave first, who gives freely, and who continues to provide all we need so we can give in return.

Over the past weeks, we’ve learned that generosity isn’t just about money—it’s about trust, courage, and a heart that follows where God leads. When we live open-handedly, we reflect His love, create spaces of belonging, and extend grace and healing to those around us. As the harvest continues beyond the season, may we keep stepping out in faith, letting God’s Word shape our choices, and using every gift He’s given to share His goodness with our community.

Your Next Step

Whether it’s reading Scripture together through the Bible App or the Bible Reading Plan, finding community in a Group, stepping into Volunteering, or showing up at one of our upcoming Events, there’s a place for you to grow and live out your faith!

Giving

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. - Malachi 3:10

God is so generous to us, and He invites us to join Him in generous living! When you give your tithe, you make ministry possible, help create welcoming spaces, and extend Christ's love in our community and throughout the world.

Shawnee Alliance Wish List

As we look to year-end, there are many updates that our ministries would like to make that our budget dollars are not able to fund. As God has blessed you, and you look for ways to give back beyond the tithe, here are some other ways you can partner with Shawnee Alliance to take the next step sooner! You can click on the direct link below to give to a specific need. Thank you for your generosity!
