Content Info For The Week

• ELA (Hamby /Purdy): Students will complete their point of view task for Unit 1. Students will also complete their narrative writing prompt, as we wrap up Unit 1. Tentative Unit 1 Exam Date: 9/28/23
• Read 180 (Hamby/Purdy/Hill): Students will continue on with the unit focus of "Why is the fight for basic human rights so hard?" They should also continue working on their e-reads and app segments. 
• Math (McClure & McDonald): Students will complete a performance task and quiz over adding and subtracting fractions. Students will also begin multiplying and dividing fractions.
• Science (Simmons): Students will continue analyzing the planets in our solar system in order to compare their characteristics to the Earth.
• Social Studies (Waddell): In social studies this week, students will finish up the study of Canada's geography with a lesson on where people live and why on Monday/Tuesday. The rest of the week will be spent working on the study guide and getting ready for our unit test. 🍁
