Heirs to the psychedelic cumbia of Los Mirlos and Los Destellos, Hit La Rosa embodies the transgressive and mystical spirit of Peruvian cumbia today. Their sound, macerated with other Latin genres and wrapped in dark psychedelia, has positioned them as one of the Peruvian groups with the greatest international growth and one of the few to have participated in a Tiny Desk.
Hit La Rosa burst onto the Lima scene in 2014, releasing their first album in 2017. Between 2017 and 2019, they toured Peru and Chile, participating in big festivals like Selvámonos (Peru) and Rockódromo (Chile). In 2021, they were part of New York's Global Fest and the Tiny Desk At Home sessions. In November 2021, they released their second album, "Ceres Entrópicos," with a live session broadcast on TV Perú. In mid-2022, they began the "Ceres Entrópicos Tour" across the US and Europe, performing at festivals such as PVD Fest, Les Escales, and Sonorama Ribera. By November 2022, they were selected for the Circulart showcases in Medellín, Colombia. In 2023, they toured Mexico, participating in the Festival Querétaro Experimental and released "El Pongo," a single in collaboration with Los Mirlos. In early 2024, they performed at the FIMPRO Guadalajara showcases and completed their second European tour through Spain, France, and Italy, at festivals like Etnosur, Peru Fest, Musikaire, and Pulsation. In 2025, they released "Ave de Campo" in collaboration with Novalima and "Kumbita del Fin del Mundo," the first singles from their new tropical electronic music EP "Bosque de Mango," which was released in September 2025 with the single "Flor de Mango," a Peruvian cumbia in collaboration with Mexican artist Pahua.

BOSQUE DE MANGO
"Bosque de Mango" marks a new era for Hit La Rosa. On this 4-track EP, the band uses electronics as a lens to magnify their psychedelic cumbia DNA. The result is a hypnotic and danceable sound, a jungle of synthesizers and rhythms, enriched by stellar collaborations with Novalima (Peru) and Pahua (Mexico).
AVE DE CAMPO
Blending electronic sounds, psychedelia, and Afro-Peruvian rhythms, Hit La Rosa makes a powerful return in 2025 with their new single “Ave de Campo.” In this new chapter, the band joins forces with Novalima — a key figure in Peru’s global music scene — to deliver a production that mix psychedelic cumbia with Afro-Peruvian music.
EL PONGO
"El Pongo" is a single in collaboration with Los Mirlos the live legends of the Amazon Cumbia. Energetic, fast and stinging, this cumbia has an amazon heritage with a punk and psychedelic rock influence that came to refresh the genre and the Peruvian pop music.

"Caminatas Oscuras" is the first preview of the upcoming album. Discovering and mixing sounds from diferents cultures, this Tropical Punk song with cumbia flavor and raucous elements, promotes the search for something new in life for not get lost in the routine.

CERES ENTROPICOS
Second studio album of the band. The seven songs that conform Ceres Entrópicos, are a collage of the landscapes and rhythms of Peru, product of sound exploration and free composition. The lyrics address different themes, such as self-discovering, paranoia, detachment and corruption. The album has a narrative, original and contemporary musicality, accompanied by a visual universe starring mystical and folkloric characters from different times and cultures of the world.
