THE FUTURE OF EARTH AND BIODIVERSITY WEEK

SAVING LIVES - EMPOWERING LIVES - CONNECTING LIVES

We will report from Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai during The Future of Earth and Biodiversity Week, from 17 to 28 September 2025.

Artkontakt Studio Bast provides on-site coverage from World Expos. We work with leading public and private institutions in Slovenia and across Europe and deliver print and digital stories, news features, social media packages, and radio/TV segments.

Expo 2020 Dubai (held 2021–2022) was a key milestone in our work. We produced reports for national and international audiences, presented the overall Expo concept and individual country pavilions, and interviewed institutions from around the world for Slovenian media.

TOWARDS A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR ALL

Sink oasis — tiny flamingos, camels, and palms staged in a household scene
Gallery of glass domes — miniature worlds displayed across the hall
Escalator rows on stacked books — a miniature crowd in motion

Germany’s “Campus Germany” pavilion turned sustainability and innovation into a hands-on learning journey, with visitors becoming “students” moving through playful, interactive labs. Lush media installations—like a forest of floating screens and collaborative challenges—made complex ideas tangible and showcased research-driven solutions with optimism.

The legacy lives on as Expo City Dubai — an open, future-focused city

Media and creators’ receptions opened new horizons and sparked new ideas.

The comprehensive identity and concept of Expo Osaka were already presented in Dubai.

In Dubai we first saw a complete vision and concept for Expo Osaka 2025.

This early presentation enabled partners and media to connect early, plan projects, and align messaging for The Future of Earth and Biodiversity Week.
Our team provided comprehensive on-the-ground coverage and delivered a series of stories for print, digital, radio, and TV.
Sustainability projects show how to save resources and protect nature

The France Pavilion presented light, knowledge and creativity as drivers of progress, linking art, science and sustainable solutions. Visitors moved through immersive media spaces, large portrait murals and galleries of forward-looking designs. The storyline placed people at the center, showing how ideas become architecture, mobility and everyday innovations. The experience combined poetic imagery with research-led projects and an optimistic view of the future.

Portrait mosaic — diverse expressions celebrating participation and openness
A collage of pavilions reveals the diversity of ideas, cultures, and architectural languages at Expo 2020 Dubai. From sustainability to mobility, nations turned solutions into visitor experiences that invite participation. Together they show how collaboration and imagination push boundaries and build a shared future.

Mobility expands horizons: moving people, goods, and ideas smarter

Digitalna Kamera magazine presented in Dubai and—more importantly—amplified ideas of sustainability and beauty. Much of what was showcased there was later shared with the public in Slovenia, bringing Dubai’s highlights to a wider audience.

Pavilions as living laboratories showcasing real innovations

Expo 2020 Dubai was a conversation about time—how fast connected minds turn ideas into reality. Opportunity is the present moment to act, Mobility is the speed of exchange, and Sustainability is our duty to future generations. When the picture reads TIME, it captures the Expo rhythm—from yesterday’s references to tomorrow’s prototypes

We borrowed this moment from the future—and returned it as a promise. When people, ideas, and courage meet, the clock moves forward. Every good story has its right time—and that time is now

Dialogue and exchange — policy, business, and communities together
