There’s nothing quite like the magic of a good story! Shoutout to Kaneland John Shields Elementary teacher Gail Payton for taking a moment to read with a student, building a love of reading one page at a time.
Measuring up to greatness! First graders at Kaneland John Shields Elementary are getting hands-on with math as they explore the basics of measuring. Learning by doing, that’s what it’s all about!
A huge thank you to Kaneland senior Emma G. for spending her afternoon with our KIPLA Empower students yesterday! As part of the Exelon STEM Ambassador program, Emma led a fun, hands-on activity teaching students about circuits, and it was a fantastic learning experience for everyone involved. We love seeing our own Knights inspire the next generation of learners!
