Emily graduated from the RVC having studied one of the first veterinary nursing degree courses. After working in first opinion practices in the UK and Channel Islands, she moved into referral anaesthesia and surgical nursing. Following this she worked in a university research team before joining Dogs Trust in 2015. Emily enjoys the opportunity to use her nursing experience to support the rehoming centre teams at Dogs Trust and the charities they work with overseas. More recently, Emily has been working with the Links Group to increase awareness of their important work within the veterinary nursing profession.
