This coming Saturday from 11 AM - 2 PM, Councilmembers will set priorities to help staff know what projects to consider to support the goal, to help the public understand the Council’s direction, and to help the City focus limited resources on the highest need. Affordable Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program on Pause Due to Resounding Success
Since launching in January 2025, the City’s Affordable Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program has generated significant interest! The City is processing nearly 30 requests for service. Due to the limited funds available in the program, the City has closed the application process and will not be accepting new requests for service. Households that have already submitted requests for service will continue to be processed. The City may reopen the program later this year and will make an announcement via all City media should that be the case.
The City's Rental Assistance Program is still open to support low-income households in Brisbane who may be experiencing financial hardship.

Bay Area Health Officials Urge Measles Vaccination and Awareness as Cases Rise Nationally
With the recent rise of measles cases nationally, San Mateo County joins Bay Area health officials in urging everyone to get the measles vaccination if they are not sure if they got it or if they did not have measles as a child, and to be aware of the signs and symptoms of measles after travel or exposure.
Measles is a highly contagious virus that can cause serious illness and death, and the safe and highly effective measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine offers the best protection against the virus. Protect yourself by making sure each member of your family who is 12 months to 3 years old is vaccinated with one dose of MMR vaccine, and each person who is age 4 or older has gotten two doses of MMR vaccine.
