Content Info For The Week

  • ELA (Hamby /Purdy): Students will review for Unit 1 Exam M, Tu, W. Unit 1 Exam will be Thursday, September 28. On Friday, the teacher will go over the completed Unit 1 Exam answers with the students.
  • Read 180 (Hamby/Purdy/Hill): Students will complete an informational essay. They will work on increasing lexile scores through computer apps and independent reading. Segment 2, novel 2, and eread 2 are all due by October 4th.
  • Math (McClure & McDonald): Students will begin working with decimals in all operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Science (Simmons): Students will continue with analyzing the planets in our solar system in order to compare their characteristics to the Earth. 
  • Social Studies (Waddell): In social studies this week, students will take their test on Australian & Canadian geography. We will move into learning about the geography of Europe towards the end of the week.
