Thank you for joining us for another Adobe Education Institute (AEI), available exclusively to Adobe Creative Campuses. These sessions are suitable for all HE staff & faculty and will focus on Adobe Express.

Day 1: Tues 6 May
Introduction to Adobe Express in Higher Education
This session aims to familiarise you with the basics of Adobe Express, with ideas of how to bring digital skills to campus. Activities include creating & translating graphics, developing syllabi posters, animating characters, and creating webpage portfolios.
Visualise Data in Adobe Express
This session will empower you to communicate complex data using Adobe Express charts, graphs, tables, and infographics. Participants will engage in activities such as summarising data with visual tools and creating infographics to explain technical concepts.
Day 2: Wed 7 May
Create Accessible PDFs in Adobe Express
Discover how to use Adobe Express to create and edit PDFs, including organizing pages, combining content from other files, and adding accessibility tags. Activities include generating images, translating documents and compiling a multi-page PDF with charts and graphs.
Teach AI Responsibly with Adobe Express
Learn how to use AI tools in Adobe Express – generate images, templates, and text effects. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with questions around the responsible implementation of AI in the classroom, and gain a deeper understanding of key Adobe initiatives for AI in education and the Content Authenticity Initiative.
Create a Video with Adobe Express
Learn how to create a video from scratch using Adobe Express & review storytelling techniques - bringing a story to life with sequences, sounds, voiceover, animated characters, and translations.
Day 3: Thurs 8 May
Collaborate Across Campus with Adobe Express
Explore the functionalities of Adobe Express to enhance teaching practices by creating a unique brand, remixable templates for use in coursework and best practices for collaborative projects. By the end, you will be ready to incorporate these time-saving practices into their workflows.
Design Presentations & Webpages in Adobe Express
Learn to create and present multimedia presentations and webpages using Adobe Express, that include video, graphics, animations, and data. By the end, you will be prepared to create multimedia presentations and webpages to improve teaching and learning.
Day 4: Fri 9 May
Produce a Podcast with Adobe Express
Discover how to create and enhance a podcast using Adobe Express and Adobe Podcast tools. Key activities will include recording and editing a mini-podcast, designing promotional graphics, and integrating audio into a video.
Building a Path to Success: Reflecting, Planning & Transforming Learnings into Action
In this wrap-up session, we encourage you to reflect on key learnings from the week and review your Padlet contributions. Together, we’ll explore the insights you’ve gained, discussing how they can be applied moving forward. By the end of the session, you will have crafted a plan, outlining what you intend to explore or implement in your work or practice following the AEI workshops.
Badges & Certifications
What Badges Can I Earn?
In order to receive a badge you must have been registered for AEI in May 2025.
- Workshop Badge: Earn a badge for each workshop you completed (no portfolio needed).
- AEI Fellow Badge: completed four (4) or more AEI workshops this year (no portfolio needed).
- Influencer Badge: complete at least six (6) AEI workshops AND submit a portfolio of work created in Adobe Express.
How To Prepare The Portfolio For The Influencer Badge?
To qualify, your portfolio must be created in Adobe Express and include activities from at least six (6) AEI Express workshops you have taken part in.
The portfolio can be a webpage, presentation or even a poster! Upload your your work as pictures, videos or view-only-links.
Please include a short reflection on your learning journey. Throughout the on-demand material you will find short reflection questions you can use for support.
How To Claim Your Badges
Whether you've completed the AEI workshops live or on-demand, you'll need to fill in the form below to confirm which workshops you've engaged with.
Please note that you only need to complete the attendance form ONCE, so we recommend you do so after you've worked through all the workshops you intend to complete.

How To Share Your Portfolio
Please ensure you have correctly published your portfolio before sharing it with us.
Steps to share the portfolio:
- Open your completed portfolio in Adobe Express
- Click 'Share' in the top right click
- 'View-only link'
- Click 'Create link'
- Copy the generated link and paste it below
FAQ
How can I prepare for the sessions?
We recommend joining the sessions from your desktop. Two monitors are ideal as the sessions are interactive, but not a requirement. Sessions are delivered via Zoom, please ensure that you are able to access the Zoom platform beforehand.
