Program Note

Many mariachi artists have appeared on our stage at The Soraya, including many of Mexico’s finest. That’s not unlike hosting the best opera singers from Italy, the best acrobats from China, or the best sax players from New Orleans. The Soraya often goes right to the source in engaging the most talented and authentic performers.

Last January, when we had an opportunity to present this mariachi “super group,” we jumped at the chance. It aligned perfectly with our commitment to excellence and to Mexican regional music and culture. The performance was sold out and received an overwhelming response. We immediately decided to bring them back for two command performances. Welcome back, Leyendas del Mariachi.

Gratefully,
