The 2025 Concerts in the Park are nearly upon us, with Pride & Joy kicking off the series this Friday, July 11th, at 6 PM. The donor banner, designed by Communications Intern Noah Kellstedt, went up Tuesday on the Gazebo thanks to Parks and Recreation Coordinator Jeff Franco (who also oversees the summer concert series) and Summer P&R Intern, Nora Flynn.

Everything Concerts - Lineup, Menus, and Merch!
The Brisbane Parks and Recreation Commission and Parks and Recreation Department have offered a summer concert series at our Community Park for more than a decade. It has become a summer staple for many residents, and they certainly appreciate the community support as reflected in both event attendance and sponsorships.
The Summer Concert Series is more than just music—it's a celebration of community, joy, and the memories we make together. Each year, this event comes to life thanks to the generous support of individuals, families, and local businesses.
And now, you can make your gift even more meaningful by honoring a loved one who cherished music or live concerts. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate their legacy and keep their passion alive through shared moments of joy and connection.
Why donate?
- Businesses gain valuable local exposure and align with a beloved community event.
- Families and individuals help create lasting memories while strengthening Brisbane’s vibrant spirit.
- Everyone contributes to a more connected and joyful summer.

With the Concerts kicking off right at dinnertime, we've got you covered with a myriad of food options available that evening in the Park! In addition to our delectable downtown fare, you'll find Julie's Deli at their booth, stocked with sandwiches, salads, chips, drinks, cookies, and small charcuterie boxes. You can even pre-order their new Star Burger, which will be this week's Friday Night Dinner offering. Just call 415-467-2161 to reserve your dinner and it'll be ready for you to pick up from the deli at 5 PM.
The Brisbane Lions Club will also be offering their hot dogs at all of the concerts for free, but please do leave a donation to show your support for them being out and always serving the community! The donations go right back into serving the community, anyways.
Moonraker Mobile will be back again in the Park, offering classic seafood bites with a modern twist...such as light & crispy fish & chips, lobster club sandwiches, and their award-winning clam chowder.
Last but not least, James Healy Confections, a staple at our Thursday Farmers' Market, will be offering his handcrafted chocolate candies and bakery items - think toffee, truffles, cookies, and chocolate ganache cake - to make sure you finish things off right!
And if you've gotten this far in this first item in the Blast - you're in for a little surprise! Debuting at the first concert will be the latest merch from Parks and Rec, and it does not disappoint! Each item was thoughtfully selected to keep you and your family cozy and enjoying the music all night long.
We look forward to seeing you all this Friday for the very first 2025 Brisbane summertime Concert in the Park!

Citywide Yard Sale Info & Map!
The Friends of the Brisbane Library have been busily preparing for Brisbane's annual Citywide Yard Sale event this Saturday, such as working on this map where you can expect to find all sorts of treasures in your neighbor's driveway (be sure to click on the individual addresses to see what they're planning to have available, and don't forget about the 20+ stalls that will be set up on San Francisco St. adjacent to the Park)! And all that treasure-hunting is sure to work up an appetite...so make sure to either get your pre-orders in for Lions Club BBQ (they will be ready to pick up at 10 AM), or simply come down to the Park to purchase. Note: hardcopy maps + menus will also be available down at the Park.
Friendly reminder: the Summer Beach Bash is taking place on Saturday at the Pool from 1:30 - 4 PM!

Adopt a Puppy this Summer from Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA
Have you heard? Throughout July, puppies up to 12 months old have $0 adoption fees! An added bonus is that at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA, located at 1450 Rollins Rd. in Burlingame, cats and dogs have already undergone costly vaccination, microchip, and spay/neuter procedures before they are placed up for adoption, making pet ownership that much more affordable. Find puppies and other dogs currently available for adoption at phs-spca.org/dogs.
