Pop Tops for a Cause
Collecting aluminum pop tabs for Ronald Mcdonald House of Charities is one of the Girl Botz FTC 22918 all-girls robotics team service projects. We started this community service project early this year and we were able to drop off our winter and spring collection at RMHC in Detroit last month. We have several aluminum tab collection containers at Larson ( one at the front office, teachers lounge and cafeteria).

Universal Supports for Students at Larson
The following student supports are available for all students in every class at Larson Middle School during the 23-24 school year.
- Preferential seating upon request
- Use of technology (word processor, iPad, Laptop)
- Teacher clarification of assignment and/or repeating directions
- Student access to graphic organizers, rubrics, and/or checklists
- Student use of calculator in all non-computational math units
- Formulas Provided
- Teacher-provided study guides in advance of large assessments
- Copy of teacher or peer notes
- Chunking/grouping of large assignments into smaller sections
2023-24 Yearbooks
Reserve a Yearbook Now! Yearbooks can be purchased through PaySchools. To guarantee your student will get one, you can purchase your hardcover book for $25 as production costs have gone up. While we may have a few yearbooks available for purchase in June, we cannot guarantee your child will be able to purchase one at that time. Reproductive Preview Night
Our health and PE teachers will be hosting their annual informational meeting regarding their reproductive unit on Thursday, October 5 at 7 pm. The meeting will be held virtually. A meeting link will be shared in a future Rebel Report.

PTO Support 2022-23
The PTO counts on financial assistance from LMS families so they are able to support students and teachers in a variety of ways. Rather than regular fundraisers, we ask parents/guardians to simply make a one-time donation of $30 per student. This covers the costs of all programming, the most significant being teacher classroom mini-grants.
While our request is $30 per student, we will accept any amount you wish to contribute. The LMS PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so your donation is tax deductible if you itemize deductions.
