Downtown Lake Elsinore Revitalization

The City of Lake Elsinore's vibrant downtown is undergoing an exciting transformation. Rediscover Downtown is a series of six current and future projects designed to enhance the downtown corridor.

The six projects are as follows:

  1. Main Street Interchange and Art Panels
  2. New City Hall
  3. Main Street Road Improvements & IT Infrastructure
  4. I-15 Main Street Interchange and Landscape Improvement
  5. New Library
  6. Main Street Aesthetics Improvement

These civic improvements aim to improve the city's infrastructure, aesthetics, and public spaces, fostering a stronger sense of community and boosting local businesses while preserving downtown's historic charm and character. With a $67.5 million investment in our future, we're building a more connected, accessible, and beautiful downtown that residents and visitors will enjoy for years to come.

Explore and visit this page often as we provide updates, share progress on each project, and showcase how these developments shape our downtown's future.

Lake Elsinore Lake Watch

Based on recent lab results from lake water sampling, the City of Lake Elsinore is announcing that current levels of toxins from algae warrant the posting of a “Caution” advisory. People are advised to avoid scum, to not drink lake water, and to continue to keep pets out of the water.

The City will continue to test the water on a weekly or bi-weekly basis at this time and will post regular updates on the lake conditions as lab results are received.
