MISSION: SISTERHOOD

Strawberry season!

Spring has arrived in Huntsville, and with it comes one of ZTA’s sweetest symbols—strawberry season. As Zetas, we know strawberries are more than a delicious sign of spring; they’re a cherished emblem of our history, a reminder of the gift of friendship, and a symbol of the love that binds our sisterhood together. Just as strawberries mark new beginnings and fresh growth, this season invites us to celebrate the connections that continue to blossom within our chapter. From shared laughter to meaningful service, we step into spring with gratitude for the traditions that shaped us and the sisters who make every season a little sweeter.

February and March were bursting with sisterhood energy! Our chapter showed up in a big way to help set up and support a fantastic Alabama/Mississippi Zeta Day on February 21 in Guntersville. It was such a joy to share our Crowns Around Town spirit with more than 250 collegiate and alumnae sisters from across the district. We kept the momentum going with a lively Bunco Bowl sisterhood night, rolling into an evening of fun and connection. March brought meaningful virtual engagement as we teamed up with the Birmingham Alumnae Chapter for a Women’s History Month program exploring women’s rights through the decades, followed by a career prep and professional development session to support our collegians.
To realize that within our grasp, in Zeta Tau Alpha, lies the opportunity to learn those things that will ever enrich and ennoble our lives..."
We’d love for you to consider sharing your talents by serving on the ZTA Huntsville Chapter Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 term. If you feel called to lead, please review the position descriptions sent out by our Slate Chair Rebecca Bushey and email her at comptonrg@yahoo.com with the role(s) you’re interested in by Monday, April 6. Service is one of the greatest gifts we can offer one another—and your strengths could be exactly what helps our sisterhood shine even brighter and soar even higher!
"Always remember, we GET to do this..." ~Malaea Seleski, ZTA National Ritual Chair
