Paige Hunter

social + digital media

About Me!

Hi, I'm Paige! I'm from South Bend, Indiana, and am a current senior at Auburn University, studying public relations. I'm a social and digital media creator specializing in sports content, storytelling, and strategizing. With experiences in live events, athletics, and national-level productions, I focus on creating content that showcases teams, promotes brands, and connects audiences to the special and important moments. My two biggest passions are sports and media, and combining those with my creativity and determination is where I thrive.

Background

Sports have always been a huge part of my life, especially growing up in the backyard of the University of Notre Dame. From Football Saturdays to day-to-day interactions and opportunities on campus with my mom, a 25+ year veteran of the athletics department, I knew from a very early age that a career path in sports was my calling. I love to create content that engages and resonates with audiences, showing the power of sports.

Auburn Experience

At Auburn, I currently serve as the social media intern for athletics. I assist in managing the Auburn Tigers' social media platforms, creating and publishing content that highlights teams and athletes, engages and involves the fanbase, and promotes the Auburn Tigers brand. My responsibilities include strategizing and executing weekly content schedules, publishing content that promotes our teams and brand, monitoring analytics and trends, and live-posting at sporting events. Combining my creativity and deep love for Auburn has allowed me to use the Auburn Tigers' platforms to give back to fans, showing them just how special this place is.

Notre Dame Experience

At Notre Dame, I have been part of both the creative video and social media teams. As a student worker over the summers, I helped create engaging content for in-game videoboard use as well as assisted in the production of documentaries and features. I also had the incredible opportunity to travel to New York in November of 2024 for the Notre Dame Football Shamrock Series game played in Yankee Stadium. I collaborated with the creative team, highlighting and showcasing this non-traditional home game and one-of-a-kind experience. In the summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to work directly with Notre Dame Football as a social media intern. Focusing on reel-form and vertical content, I followed trends and attended practices and media shoots to create engaging content for the football TikTok and Instagram accounts. Notre Dame holds a special place in my heart, and I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love at a place so impactful to me.

College Football Playoff Experience

I was selected as one of 18 members to be on the creative and social team during the 2025 College Football Playoff and 2026 National Championship in Miami, FL. Collaborating with a team of talented videographers, photographers, graphic designers, and social publishers, I helped support official CFP social media platforms by creating and posting real-time content throughout the high-visibility playoff month and championship game. It was an honor to have been chosen to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to contribute to something so great while learning and growing alongside the best of the best.

SEC Experience

I was a member of the digital and social team during the 2025 SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover, AL. During this week, I collaborated with video, photo, and social team members to post quick-turn social content across platforms, highlighting all 16 teams playing in this high-profile tournament. I also created photo, graphic, and iPhone content, growing in my media creation skills and experience. A rewarding week marked by growth and collaboration capped an exciting and engaging tournament.
