For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.

This month was a time of thanksgiving because God gave me the blessing of having another year of life. That day was special because there were no activities because it was an election day in Korea, so I took the opportunity to go and share with my sisters in Christ.

At the end of each month we share a cake with everyone who has a birthday that month. So for the month of April there were 6 of us who had a birthday. God has blessed me with a great family in faith.

From the 11th to the 12th of April we visited the city of 임실 which is 4 hours away from the city where I live. The purpose of the visit was to understand the history and culture of the city, as well as the education during the Joseon dynasty. It was also important to learn about the influence that Confucianism has had not only on the peninsula, but unfortunately has also permeated the churches.

We had time in prayer for the peninsula that God would destroy all thoughts contrary to God's thinking in the lives of Korean believers.

I ask you to take a few minutes in prayer for the peninsula to establish the culture of the Kingdom of God over the culture of Korea.

As part of the programme of our visit to 임실 we had the opportunity to enjoy a traditional musical performance as well as making a paper lamp and making designs with ceramics. Finally we had the experience of making cheese as 임실 is the home of Korean cheese.

On the 25th of April I had the final presentation of my first level of Korean, I read the story of the prodigal son in Korean as well as we sang a song 사랑합니다 나의 예수님 예수님.

It has not been easy to learn the language, but I have felt the support of your prayers. God has been faithful. Here is a video of my presentation. Once again THANK YOU for your prayers.

At the end of April we had a full week of training in which we studied the following topics:

The NK Strategic Principles

The Generations

Cultural differences When dealing with SK and NK

An important aspect I learned is that it is not really about how good and special the project, work or ministry you have in NK is, what is most important is my deep intimacy with God. I must be impregnated with God's love and grace in order to be a channel and to be able to impregnate the NK people with God's love. Another aspect that God is teaching me at this time in Korea is to deny myself (Mark 8:34) and be humble like Christ.

In previous letters I mentioned that God wants to do something wonderful with an NK community in Japan, and I also told you about a family that is preparing to be pioneers there. I want to testify that God has provided a strategy for this family to move to Japan. So probably in June they will move permanently in order to announce the news of salvation to the NK community.

Also, in previous letters I told you that at the beginning of January this year the leader of NK mentioned in a speech that South Korea is their first enemy. This is bad news because the health workers who have already been in NK and are waiting for the doors to open so that they can continue their projects; they can no longer stay in South Korea so they must move to other countries so that when the doors of the North open they will not have any problem to enter.

The group that will be staying in the south will continue to learn the language and deepen their understanding of the culture, later on it will be necessary to move to another country. In the meantime we are thinking of creating bases in some of these countries (Japan, Mongolia, China or Vietnam). For the time being, prayer is needed for God to open doors, guide and give strategies in some of these countries.

We recently said goodbye to a family who are now leaving the 태백 community and are expected to move to Mongolia by the end of this year or early next year. We also said goodbye to another person who will be moving to Busan to do ministry with NK refugees.
Another activity during the month of April was to attend a special documentary concerning a group of women of different nationalities who marched across the DMZ for peace on the Korean peninsula. The director and leader of the documentary was with us, so after watching the documentary we had time to ask her questions and make comments. If you are interested in watching the documentary I leave you the link https://youtu.be/vKmkd2XAWRs?si=cJxes36BeiHJ-WAw
In the church where I attend, there is a ministry that tries to evangelize people who are practically living on the street because they lost all their money in casino games. These people are addicted to gambling. Therefore, the church for three days a week not only gives them physical food, but there is a special day where they speak the word of God to them.I had the opportunity to join them one day and pray for them. May God have mercy on these people and loose them from all bondage.
How to keep remembering me in prayer?

God of strategies, direction, guidance, wisdom for possible bases to be established in some of these countries (China, Japan, Vietnam or Mongolia).

On May 25th we will have an activity called Restore. God grant that each of the people who will attend may be impacted by God. May God be glorified in all that will be done on that day.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide me in every decision I must make and give me divine direction for the next steps.

May I love our Lord more, with surrender. Love His Word, long for His presence, experience His joy, and be a good steward for His glory.

Wisdom to learn the Korean language and perfect English.

Pray that I will continue to learn and enjoy every activity I have during the week (prayer meetings, classes, training, ministry etc).

For the renewal of visas for some members of the community, God grant that they will be renewed in August without any problem.

God is opening the borders and projects can be developed without any problem so that I can flood NK with the presence.
