Students in grades 9–12 recently had the opportunity to visit Tompkins Cortland Community College and SUNY Cortland to learn more about academic programs, campus life, and student opportunities. The visits gave students a firsthand look at each campus and helped them explore future educational options after high school. Touring colleges in person allows students to experience the campus environment, ask questions, and gather information that can support their decision-making process.
Students were also able to compare these campuses with colleges visited earlier in the school year, helping them reflect on what type of school setting may be the best fit for their goals and interests.
With summer approaching, now is a great time for students and families to begin planning additional college visits and exploring postsecondary opportunities.
